WINDSOR, N.C. Benjamin Franklin Baker, 76, of Route 3, a retired plant operator, died June 2, 1988, in an Edenton, N.C., hospital. Mr. Baker, a native of Merry Hill, N.C., had retired from Kraft Foods. He was a member of Capehart's Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, Eva Frances Baker, a daughter, Leavon Thompson of Hopewell, Va.; two sons, H.C. Baker of Virginia Beach and Bennie C. Baker of Kinston, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grand-children. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Capehart's Baptist Church by the Rev. Lawrence Jones.
