CARLTON M. HILL COLERAIN - Carlton Miles Hill, 74, of the 100 block of Perrytown Road, died Dec 20, 2004, at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital. He was born in Bertie County on Sept 26, 1930, to the late Joe and Mamie White Hill and was preceded in death by brothers, Rudolph and Garner and a sister, Becky. Mr Hill was a member of Perrytown Assembly of God and retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation as a traffic service foreman. He is survived by his wife Leslie Hill of Windsor, NC; three brothers, Joe Hill and Haywood Hill, both of Windsor and Jim Hill of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Nadine H. Bazemore and Alease H. Askew, both of Windsor; a step- sister, Letha Mae Outlaw of Ahoskie; and a grandson, Ethan Hill. A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in Perrytown Assembly of God by the Rev. David Baker. Burial will follow n Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain. The family received friends Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Perrytown Volunteer Fire Department or the Perrytown Assembly of God.
