In 1950, Aldine was married to Raleigh Thomas "Charlie" Snipes and from that time maintained a household in Menola. From her union with Charlie was born Amy Annette Snipes. Aldine is survived by her daughter, Amy Annette Snipes of Winton, NC; her beloved poodle, Maggie; brothers, Milton R. Early of Gloucester, VA and Reginald S. Early and wife Joyce of Virginia Beach, VA; brother-in-law, Robert Finley Snipes and wife Evelyn of Wilson, NC; sister-in-law, Maggie J. Early of Virginia Beach; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased for 32 years by her beloved husband, Charlie; sisters, Foy Mae Bazemore and Helen Peele; brothers, H.C. Early and Roy Early. A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Garrett Funeral Home in Ahoskie. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Gardens.
